After what seemed like a marathon of tests, the answer finally came and in August of 2006, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I was only 16 at the time.

The Zimmerman family (Cheryl, Keith, Ryan and Shawn) would like to tell you how their lives have been affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) over the past 24 years.

I still had some doubts until the spinal tap showed results that solidified the diagnosis in my mind. I now felt that life was more fragile than it was just ten minutes before. I felt "not perfect"
